Trainee Valuer Plant & Equipment / Project Manager
O'Maras specialises in valuations, advisory and realisation strategies in NON real estate B2B assets. We operate across access hire, mining, earthmoving, retail, medical, manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, energy, transport, agriculture, numismatics, etc.
We have a fantastic position available for a trainee valuer of plant & equipment to form part of our key valuation team operating nationally with a focus on services to the banking, insolvency, finance and merger & acquisition sectors. The position is based from our head office in Sydney CBD with frequent local and interstate travel.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting, describing and photographing assets
- Researching asset values
- Undertake study towards an American Society of Appraisers accreditation
- Working autonomously as well as part of a team on complex matters
- Assisting the team with auction projects
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in the Valuation or Auction Industry preferable
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to prepare reports/tenders/proposals
- Strong work ethic, good analytical and organisational skills
- Current driver’s license
